Hat-Trick · Android

Privacy policy.

This policy explains how Atomic IT Studio handles information in Hat-Trick for Android (package com.hattrick.game), including local progress, optional profile photos, purchases, advertising and privacy choices. Hat-Trick is intended for children and adults. Our advertising flow keeps children, teens and players whose age is unknown outside the advertising SDK. Contact us at contact@atomicitstudio.com about this policy or a privacy request.

Your game data stays on your device

Hat-Trick stores your scores, coin balance, characters, owned and equipped hats and skins, challenge and daily-reward progress, preferences and purchase-fulfillment records in the app's local storage. Your profile name is also stored locally. We use these records to run the game, remember your choices, deliver purchases and prevent the same purchase from being granted twice.

The current game does not require a player login and does not upload your complete save to a studio account or cloud leaderboard. Its displayed demo rankings are not a global ranking service. Device backup and restoration features may separately copy app data according to your device and platform settings.

Optional profile photos

You can choose a profile photo using your device's image picker. The game reads the image you select and saves a local copy for your profile. Choosing a photo is optional. Hat-Trick does not upload that photo to a studio server, publish it to a leaderboard, use it for facial recognition, or send it to the advertising SDK.

You can replace or remove the selected photo using the profile controls. Removing the in-game copy does not delete the original image from your device's photo library. Clearing the app's storage also removes its local copy, subject to device backups.

Children, teens and age choices

Hat-Trick has a mixed audience that includes children under 13 and adults. Before advertising is enabled, the game asks for a birth year in a blank field. You may skip this step and play. The entered year is used on the device to determine a broad age category; the year itself is not saved or supplied to an advertising provider. The saved privacy record contains the broad category, your advertising choice and a notice-version number.

Children, teens and players who skip the age question do not initialize Unity LevelPlay or Unity Ads in this version. The game uses a conservative adult check: a birth year must be at least 19 calendar years before the current year before the adult ad-choice screen is offered. This check is not identity verification or a parental-consent service. A young player may use the ordinary game without advertising.

Parents or guardians can contact contact@atomicitstudio.com about their child's information, including support messages sent to us. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and take the action required by applicable law. Store purchase approval and parental controls are managed through the device and Google Play.

Optional advertising for adults

An eligible adult may choose to allow contextual advertising or play without ads. Allowing ads lets Unity LevelPlay and Unity Ads store or read device information for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. The choice is voluntary, with no preselected consent, and can be changed through Settings → Ad privacy options. Ordinary play, earned progress and owned content do not depend on accepting ads. Ad-based bonuses or continues require an available ad and successful completion.

When advertising is enabled, Unity LevelPlay mediates ads with Unity Ads as the intended sole active advertising network. Its integration also includes the required Ad Quality component. These services may process your IP address and approximate location inferred from it; app, device and operating-system information; service or device identifiers; ad requests, views, interactions and reward events; diagnostics; and impression or revenue information. Uses include delivering and measuring ads, service analytics, security, fraud prevention and compliance. Contextual advertising still involves processing information.

Hat-Trick disables personalized advertising, sets the provider's do-not-sell/share preference, opts out of device-ID access, and removes Android advertising-ID and AdServices permissions. These restrictions do not prevent every form of device or connection information from being processed. Your local profile name, photo, birth year and complete save are not passed by the game to these services. The current integration does not use AdMob or a separate studio analytics backend.

Changing your preference stops future ad loading and display under the declined choice. It does not automatically erase records a provider already holds. Unity and its service providers may process information under their own responsibilities and privacy terms. Use Unity's policy and privacy-request options for information it controls independently, or contact us for help with information handled on our behalf.

Purchases and Remove Ads

Where available, coin packs and Remove Ads are purchased through Google Play using Unity In-App Purchasing. Store availability and prices are supplied by Google Play. Google handles your payment details; Hat-Trick does not provide a separate card-payment form. The game and purchasing services process product, transaction, receipt or purchase-token, purchase-status and entitlement information to deliver or restore purchases and prevent duplicate fulfillment. Provider processing is described in the linked Google and Unity notices.

Remove Ads suppresses banner and interstitial ads. It leaves explicitly optional rewarded ads available only when your privacy and age choices permit them. Restoring a non-consumable purchase depends on the store's records. Consumed coin packs, local coin balances and game progress are not a studio cloud inventory and are not automatically recovered after local data is erased. Clearing the game does not erase Google's purchase history.

Support and contact messages

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments or details you choose to provide. We and the service providers used to deliver and store email use that information to answer requests, investigate problems and handle privacy or purchase questions. Device model, Android version, game version and a description of the problem are usually sufficient for a bug report. Please do not send passwords, card numbers or unnecessary identity documents.

Purposes, recipients and legal bases

Information is used to provide the game, remember preferences, fulfill purchases, support players, deliver and measure permitted advertising, protect services and meet legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, it depends on the activity: performing a service you request, consent for optional advertising and device access, legitimate interests in operating and protecting services or answering support, and legal obligations. You may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier consent-based processing.

Recipients can include Google Play, Unity's purchasing and advertising services, their relevant service providers, and providers used for studio email and website hosting. The advertising SDK is not enabled for minors, unknown-age players or adults who decline. We do not offer a player-data brokerage service. Advertising disclosures may be regulated as a sale or sharing in some jurisdictions; this version disables personalization and signals do-not-sell/share to the advertising provider. You can also contact us to exercise applicable rights.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer, with the protections and notice required by applicable law. Our providers may process information outside your country. Their notices describe their locations and transfer safeguards. Where transfer rules apply, the organization responsible for the transfer must apply the required safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Local progress, profile data, purchase-fulfillment records and privacy preferences remain in app storage until you remove them, clear storage or uninstall the game, subject to Android backup and restoration settings. To clear local data, open Android Settings → Apps → Hat-Trick → Storage (or Storage & cache) → Clear storage / Clear data. Labels vary by device. This can permanently erase progress, currency and local unlocks. Manage device backups separately to remove backup copies.

We keep support communications for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, address related disputes, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal obligations. When no longer needed for those purposes, identifying information is deleted or removed. You can request deletion where applicable law allows it. Provider-held advertising and purchase records follow the relevant provider's retention rules; uninstalling the game or declining ads does not automatically delete those records.

For records we control, email contact@atomicitstudio.com with the subject Hat-Trick privacy request. We can handle requests concerning information held on our behalf. For information Google or Unity controls independently, use the request methods in their privacy policies; we can help identify the relevant provider. We cannot remotely retrieve or erase a local save that has not been sent to us.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain sale, sharing or advertising uses. You may have a right to appeal a privacy decision and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Rights can have lawful exceptions, including required transaction or security records.

Contact contact@atomicitstudio.com and describe your request. We may ask for limited information needed to find the relevant records and verify that you are entitled to make the request, including a parent's or guardian's authority when appropriate. We respond within the time required by applicable law. You do not need to buy anything to make a request. Hat-Trick currently has no player-created online account to delete; local records, support messages and provider records have the separate deletion methods described above.

Security and external services

Game saves and the selected profile photo use app storage. We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information and service, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Google and Unity describe their own security practices in their policies.

Opening a privacy link, store page or advertisement takes you to an external service with its own practices. Visiting this policy page allows the website's hosting service to process ordinary connection and security information, such as IP address, requested page and request time. This policy page contains no advertising tags or analytics trackers. Other studio website features, such as newsletter signup, are separate from the game's local save and should be considered when you use them.

Policy updates and contact

We update this policy when relevant practices change and show the effective date of the current version. For material changes, we provide additional notice or request a new privacy choice where required before enabling the changed processing.
